2025 Season Survey Results & SCMB Response
In 2025, Swift Current Minor Baseball (SCMB) distributed a season survey to families. We received 32 responses. Thank you to everyone who took the time to share feedback. Your input helps us grow and improve our program.

SCMB Response - We Listened
We value your feedback and have already taken steps toward improvement.
Coaching Development
One of the main themes was the need for additional training and support for volunteer coaches.
- SCMB will host an NCCP Coaching Clinic in Swift Current on May 24, 2026.
- Communication was sent to families on January 29.
- Details are available on the Swift Current Minor Baseball website (RAMP InterActive).
Our goal is to provide coaches with the tools, training, and support they need to create consistent, positive player experiences across all teams.
Facilities & Field Maintenance
SCMB is fortunate to maintain a strong relationship with the City of Swift Current.
To improve clarity and accountability:
- SCMB has added formal Rules & Regulations documentation.
- Please refer to Article 6 - Field Maintenance Responsibilities for updated guidelines.
We are committed to improving consistency in field upkeep throughout the season.
Tryout Process Improvements (2026 Season)
Based on feedback, SCMB has implemented changes for 2026:
- Separate tryouts for players trying out for AA and AAA teams in the spring.
- Adjustments to coach selection timing to support stronger team balance and recruitment.
We will continue refining the process to ensure fairness, transparency, and competitive development opportunities. Your feedback matters. SCMB is committed to continuous improvement and providing a positive baseball experience for all players and families.
